Anyone reading this and your phone is NOT jailbroken, sorry this post just isn’t for you. However this might just be an app worth jailbreaking your phone for.

iRealSMS is a fully featured replacement to the default SMS application that arrives with the iPhone. Allowing you to use your SMS in landscape (although I don’t understand this as it gives even LESS screen real-estate with the keyboard out), the ability to reply to any SMS from anywhere (home screen or application) without interfering with what you are currently doing and many more features.

iRealSMS can be installed quickly and easily through Cydia by going to the SECTIONS, then MESSAGING, find iRealSMS2 and INSTALL.

You can run this application for free for 10 days, however after that you’ll have to purchase it for around US$20 – which is … well not too bad I guess.
