I saw this and almost had a freak out. Now SimCity was one of my most favourite games and it would seem it is coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch. I can foresee allot of time playing this app when it comes out later this month.

Zooming in as close as you can on the 2D sprites reveals intricate details, such a smoke emitting from towers, or shading alongside the buildings. Overall, a really nice graphical presentation that compares similarly to SimCity 3000.”

Hope fully the UI can handle all the detailed interactions that SimCity demands. However, after reading kotaku’s review of the application it seems that it is nicely integrated.
