So we all know that when Guns and Roses are pulling out there power ballad there is nothing quite like getting out you lighter and holding it up and swaying. Well now you don’t need to worry about the inherent fire risk or burning your finger halfway through the song as SonicLighter is here to help.
SonicLighter is actually has much more that just a simple lighter function, you are able to blow out the flame, pinch the flame to change it size and tilt the flame side ways to fry the sides of your iPhone. One would say that’s enough functions for one application but wait there’s more….
If you hold the valve you can create a blow torch, you can ignite other iPhones with the blow torch flame and there is even a globe view so you can see other ignitions across the world. Also SonicLighter can be used to ignite other combustible applications running on the iPhone, including Sonic Boom, and the new Electric Smoke.
So at your new years party or that next concert instead of pulling out you lighter, get out you iPhone with SonicLighter, you could also see how many iPhones you can ignite, plus its a bit safer.
Get SonicLighter from the app store.
you know – I’m more of a function over form type of geek and even though I have a lighter feature in my myLite app I really don’t get why there are so many lighters out there for the iphone. Are they just easy to right and develop such as a de facto “hello world”? Sure it is a fun novelty to show of to other iphoneless geeks but other than that I don’t really see a use for it. I wouldn’t take my iphone to a concert for fear of it being dropped, broken, soaked in fluids, and/or stolen. I do like how this particular app takes hold of the iphone’s senor functionality and certainly something to get an example from as to what any app should propagate.
