RSS
RSS is a very cool way of making blog updates come to you, instead of having to view a bunch of different sites to see if anybody has written something new.
There is a video available explaining RSS in Plain English, with captions available in English and other languages.
If you’re using OS X’s Mail.app you can also subscribe by selecting “Add RSS Feeds…” from the “File” menu and inputting this address:

in the box that pops up.
If you are using Safari, you can subscribe to the RSS feed by clicking on the blue RSS icon to the right of the address bar – here’s a picture showing where:
