This is one of those apps that really has no point, but it made me laugh and for that alone it gets a post. As you age, apparently you lose the ability to hear hear high frequencies. Some enterprising students took advantage of this and used ring tones on their mobiles that they could hear but their teachers could not. This has now been turned on its head with an application specifically designed to annoy kids with sounds that they can hear but you can’t.

To use Teen Torture all you do is fire it up and selected which age group you want to annoy, and you are ready to go.

I’m not to sure how well this app will do as most of the users of the iPhone are relatively young and would be affected by this app making it useless to them. But for $.99 there will be some older users will get some kicks from it, so next time you hear an annoying ringing in your ears it may just be “Teen Torture“.
