The iPhone – improvements needed?

Studiowhiz has a sweet post about possible improvements in the iPhone. Now we all could think of some but this is well written and to the point

Extract:

I like my iPhone, really I do. I've had a number of phones in the past few years, some called phones, some called smart phones. None though have really captured my attention (nor yours) as much as the iPhone.

So, as I mentioned I do rather like my iPhone, however there are some things that I feel could be tweaked, adjusted or simply changed to make the experience just that much better.

Well put. As the blogger says – one could go on and on. What I find particularily primitive for such an advanced phone is it’s mail, SMS and contacts capabilities. I want to be able to forward a SMS. I want to be able to send a contact as a business card or SMS. I want MMS. I would like a decent call manager. Simple functions. Stuff that the majority of phones way below the price of the iPhone do.
I have been told to install 3rd party apps. This is all very well but then, in order to enjoy a broad selection, I need to jailbreak the phone. (Not for the feint hearted!) Or, spend tens of dollars to accomplish what should have been available on the phone in the first place -not to mention the inconvenience. Mu current iPhone is 3G. It is my second phone which demonstrates my liking of it. I just really thought that by now Apple would have listened to their consumers.
