Well put. As the blogger says - one could go on and on. What I find particularily primitive for such an advanced phone is it's mail, SMS and contacts capabilities. I want to be able to forward a SMS. I want to be able to send a contact as a business card or SMS. I want MMS. I would like a decent call manager. Simple functions. Stuff that the majority of phones way below the price of the iPhone do.
I have been told to install 3rd party apps. This is all very well but then, in order to enjoy a broad selection, I need to jailbreak the phone. (Not for the feint hearted!) Or, spend tens of dollars to accomplish what should have been available on the phone in the first place -not to mention the inconvenience. Mu current iPhone is 3G. It is my second phone which demonstrates my liking of it. I just really thought that by now Apple would have listened to their consumers.
